The cleaning did not extend to under the cupboards.

The staff were extrememly polite and our room was very well looked after.
The hotel was a little further out of Brighton main centre than I'd origianlly planned. Also the furniture in our room such as the dresser rocked when you put your hand on it and the drawers stuck, whne you tried to open them to use them.

Lichfield House is terrific in terms of service and its incredible location, even though it's a modest establishment. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff are extremely friendly. The superior double room with comfortable beds is a nice choice because it has an electric kettle, central heating, and a multi-channel television.

Nice touches in room normally associated with larger hotels, such as the complementary chocolates, bottled water and shampoo & soap dispensers. Good breakfast!
No one to meet you when you check in, room door left open and you just speak to someone on the intercom who lets you in the main door.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with it being close to the city center and just a short walk from the seafront. The staff were very helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and all the amenities I needed, such as an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also provided free Wi-Fi, which was a great bonus. I had a fantastic experience at this venue and would highly recommend it to others.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed at this place and found it to be in a great location. It was conveniently close to shops and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the Brighton area. The hotel is situated on a steep hill, but it didn't bother us as we were able to walk to town and the pier in around 20-25 minutes. The staff here were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room provided a good base for our stay, with amenities like an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a comfortable bed. The cleanliness and quality of the room were impressive, and we especially loved the cozy bed linen and bathrobe provided.
We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was so pleasantly surprised by how bright and airy my basement room was. It was marvelously clean and the decor was fresh. Wonderfull touches such as chocolates on bed.Everything you could need was there. Hairdryer iorn, iorn board, fridge, kettle with heaps of coffee and tea sachets. The shower was just the right temp and power, lots of fluffy white towels and even free wifi.Same shower gel you get at expensive hotels. Really would give this place 10/10.iv stayed all over Brighton and Lichfield house honestly has as many room facilities as The Grand and more than the hilton at half the price.will highly recomend it.
There was just 1 thing and I feel mean saying it as everything else being so fabulous cancelled it out. It was the water pump thingy,I stayed in the front basement room and it sort of did a very loud chugg every 10 mins or so. It did not wake me up though, once id got off to sleep and I did go off quickly.

I liked the location and the staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice
The only thing I did not like was the size of the bathroom and the fact that the flooring was not laid properly and if you were of the large size you would not have been able to get in

Would have been handy to have had some staff around. Out room was tiny and cramped but our friends was lovely and large. Not worth the money but ok for one night I guess.
